What is HHMT?
The Helene Harris Memorial Trust international Forum on Ovarian Cancer - sometimes shortened to ‘HHMT’ in the scientific community – is an in-person Forum organised by Ovarian Cancer Action.
Every four years, we bring together the world’s leading ovarian cancer experts to discuss and debate what we need to do to make ovarian cancer a survivable disease. By collaborating on an international scale, we'll reach our goals quicker.
Everything you need to know about HHMT
From the impact of HHMT on ovarian cancer research to the history of the Forum itself, here's everything you need to know about the global ovarian cancer conference.
The 15th Helene Harris Memorial Trust Forum.
The four-day Forum will take place at the beginning of October 2024, bringing researchers around the globe to the UK to discuss and build breakthroughs in ovarian cancer research.
This year’s sessions will focus on improving survival in High Grade Serous ovarian cancer, encouraging ambitious discussions and recommendations
Maximising impact
For the first time in its history, Ovarian Cancer Action will be joined at the 2024 HHMT Forum by leading international partners to maximise the global reach and impact.

At the heart of everything we do
Michelle was working as a nurse when she was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer. After a recurrence, she was able to access the PARP inhibitor rucaparib (Rubraca).
Ovarian cancer patients are at the heart of HHMT, and a motivating focus for all researchers involved.
Take a look at Michelle's story in full.
Do you need support involving patients in your research?
The Ovarian Cancer Action Research Network is a virtual group of people affected by ovarian cancer who use their experience of the disease to help shape ovarian cancer research.
