Ovarian Cancer Action is the UK’s ovarian cancer research charity. From funding scientists on the front line, to mobilising millions of people across the UK to take action – we’re driven by a vision of a world without ovarian cancer and a belief that we can create a better future.

Head of Partnerships and Projects

We are looking for an individual to join our team to cover for a 12-month period working with the CEO and Senior Management team to firstly develop a partnership strategy for the charity and secondly to set up and implement a planning process that incorporates strategy and campaign planning and budgeting.

Marketing Manager

We are looking for an outstanding and broadly skilled Marketing Manager to lead the development and delivery of a variety of high impact marketing campaigns across the charity, from fundraising to raising awareness. They will be an exceptional communicator and relationship builder who can create marketing activity based on audience need and insight, with the main purpose to make the biggest positive difference to women with ovarian cancer.

Marketing and Communications Officer
We are going through a busy growth period in the Marcomms team and we are looking for an exceptional Marketing and Communications Officer to support our ambitious team on a variety of projects. This is a varied role and a fantastic opportunity to develop a wide variety of skills working across all aspects of marketing and communications, including print and digital, social media and PR. We are looking for a talented individual who has a proven track record of successfully working in a marketing and communications role for at least the last two years. The ideal candidate will be able to show a portfolio of campaigns, have experience working with a website CMS, experience managing social media channels for a charity or brand, and previously worked as part of a high performing team.

Major Donor Manager

We are looking for an experienced Major Donor Manager to join our team and drive growth in the area of philanthropic giving in this newly created role. The main purpose of the Major Donor Manager is to develop and implement a major donor strategy and work with the Senior Management Team and Chair to identify and secure major donations. We have partnered with major donors for a number of years and we are now seeking to elevate our major donor program to the next level. We are looking for the right Major Donor Manager who is committed to building a solid base of sustainable, long- term support for the charity’s work.

Trusts  Manager

We are looking for a talented, well organised, relationship builder and bid writer to grow income and drive growth for the charity from trusts and foundations. The main purpose of the Trusts Manager is to develop and implement a trusts and foundations strategy to increase partnerships and manage the process from writing applications to stewarding relationships. A key deliverable of the role is to drive income to achieve our ambitious goals of funding more, innovative, and game-changing research, and the most impactful awareness campaigns. We are looking for the right Trusts Manager who is committed to building a solid base of sustainable, long- term support for the charity’s work.

Interim Corporate Partnership Manager

We are looking for an experienced interim Corporate Partnerships Manager to join our team to cover for maternity leave over a nine to twelve month period, who is confident to work and manage this area on their own. The main purpose of the Corporate Partnerships Manager is to generate a sustainable income stream through existing and new corporate partnerships whilst inspiring more people to support ovarian cancer research. We are looking for a Corporate Partnerships Manager who will be responsible for researching, approaching and winning new corporate partnerships and committed to building a solid base of sustainable, long- term support for the charity’s work.
