Ovarian Cancer Action is the UK’s ovarian cancer research charity. From funding scientists on the front line, to mobilising millions of people across the UK to take action – we’re driven by a vision of a world without ovarian cancer and a belief that we can create a better future.

Grants and Impact Manager

OCA is looking to recruit a Grants and Impact Manager to manage its research portfolio. This is an exciting time to join the charity: having invested £11m in research we have an ambitious programme of work ahead. You will be part of a small but energetic team who are passionate about taking action against ovarian cancer. The Grants and Impact Manager will take overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of OCA’s research funding programme.

This role is a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic self-starter to take ownership of implementing best practice in our research management processes.

This is also a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build on their career experience in a full-time role or would suit someone with extensive experience looking for a part-time role.

Community & Challenge Events Fundraiser 

We are going through an exciting growth period at OCA, and expanding the fundraising team to support and grow our community and challenge events fundraising. This is a key role and we are looking for someone who has experience in fundraising in a successful and results orientated team. The key purpose of the role is the day to day implementation and supporter management of the Community & Challenge Event fundraising campaigns.  ​

Community & Challenge Events Manager 

We are going through an exciting growth period at OCA, and expanding the fundraising team to support and grow our community and challenge events fundraising. This is a key role and we are looking for someone who has experience working in a successful and results orientated team. The key purpose of the role is to develop and implement a strategy to increase income from community and challenge events fundraising, in line with the charity’s 2019 growth strategy. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual with an extensive knowledge of community and challenge events fundraising who is looking to use that knowledge to grow the income for much needed scientific research.

Trusts Manager

We are looking for a talented, well organised, relationship builder and bid writer to grow income and drive growth for the charity from trusts and foundations. The main purpose of the Trusts Manager is to develop and implement a trusts and foundations strategy to increase partnerships and manage the process from writing applications to stewarding relationships. A key deliverable of the role is to drive income to achieve our ambitious goals of funding more, innovative, and game-changing research, and the most impactful awareness campaigns. We are looking for the right Trusts Manager who is committed to building a solid base of sustainable, long- term support for the charity’s work.
