Currently, only 3 in 10 women diagnosed with ovarian cancer will live beyond 10 years.
In 2023, we asked you to step out to show your support for your loved ones this Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month - and you delivered! Our online community of over 1000 walkers, each taking on 100km throughout the month of March, have already raised over £200,000.
The money raised will help us to reach our ambition of at least half of women with ovarian cancer surviving for 10 years by 2032 - saving the lives of more mothers, daughters, sisters and friends.
Missed the chance to sign up? You can still support Ovarian Cancer Action by donating to Walk In Her Name. We'll be back in 2024 for another inspiration challenge.
In February 2023, we announced Beth Mead as our ambassador, as she sadly lost her mum to ovarian cancer earlier this year. Although she was not able to participate whilst recovering from an injury, Beth has been cheering on our walkers as the Walk In Her Name team Captain.
