Royal Parks Half Marathon

Event details

The Royal Parks Half Marathon is one of the most popular events in the running calendar for both new and experienced runners alike - and for good reason! This fantastic run makes its way around the most stunning parts of the Royal Parks of London - a truly unique way to see the capital’s most famous landmarks including Buckingham Palace, the Houses of Parliament, Kensington Palace and more!

This prestigious (yet accessible for newbies) run is always oversubscribed because of its amazing views and warm and welcoming atmosphere. Imagine crossing that finish line to a hero’s welcome from the crowd, proudly wearing your medal, knowing you’ve achieved something amazing fitness wise -  and something even more incredible for people living with ovarian cancer. A memory you will never forget!

Amanda, who took on the Royal Parks Half Marathon for us explains how supporting the charity helped her to the half marathon distance:

"Running the Royal Parks was not only a personal goal but part of a movement to fight and hopefully cure a disease that affects so many people’s lives and families at all different stages of life.

That hill at mile 11? Well, it’s done, I did it, knowing that the money I raised from donations will bring real change to women’s lives. And personally? There’s no better feeling... Stick your trainers on and go!"

I think the Royal Parks Half Marathon is quite far from me

The event is a fantastic excuse to go away for the weekend. There are lots of thing to see in London, not least the four stunning Royal Parks you will run through. Buckingham Palace, the London Eye or one of the huge selection of museums and galleries, there's something for everyone! The run itself is a unique and fantastic way to sightsee some of the capital's most famous landmarks.
