THE AI ACCELERATOR GRANT: A $1 MILLION GLOBAL GRANT TO CHANGE THE FACE OF OVARIAN CANCER RESEARCH.

Researcher
For the first time, four of the world’s leading ovarian cancer research charities have united to create the Global Ovarian Cancer Research Consortium - and we’re excited to announce the launch of a new $1 million international grant focused on using AI to transform the outcomes for women with ovarian cancer.
This grant, born out of Ovarian Cancer Action’s Helene Harris Memorial Trust (HHMT) International Forum in October 2024, brings together leading global ovarian cancer charities from the UK, USA, Canada, and Australia. By bringing together some of the best minds in ovarian cancer research, the idea was sparked that now fuels this global collaboration.
The grant details:
- We’re offering $1 million in funding and an optional $1 million in Azure credits and AI expertise from Microsoft AI in Good Labs, awarded to the principal investigator's institution over 3 years.
- The grant will fund research that uses AI to address any element of survival in ovarian cancer.
- The project team must include collaborative investigators from the UK, USA, Canada and Australia.
- Letter of Intent due June 18, 2025
- Full Proposal due September 9, 2025 (invite only)
