What made you want to work for Ovarian Cancer Action?

I am deeply passionate about addressing the underrepresentation of women in all areas of life, especially in medical research. The lack of knowledge about women's bodies has left us at a disadvantage in managing various health conditions, causing unnecessary physical and mental suffering. Ovarian cancer is a prime example of a female-specific disease with severe consequences due to insufficient research and support.

What’s your favourite part of working at Ovarian Cancer Action / what’s the best thing you’ve worked on?

The drive and passion within the team are almost palpable – it is a privilege to work with such a talented and committed group of individuals.

What’s a song, film or book that you would recommend?

I am captivated by The Three-Body Problem trilogy. Though it's a lengthy read, I've already delved into it twice. The series masterfully intertwines complex scientific concepts with profound explorations of human nature and society, all presented in poetic and beautiful language. It truly is a literary gem.
