Step into action this Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month
In 2025, a woman dies every two hours from ovarian cancer in the UK. We know survival is more likely if it’s caught early, but there’s currently no screening option and symptoms can often be mistaken for other illnesses.
Hundreds of our incredible supporters across the UK are taking on the Walk in Her Name challenge and walking 100km their way to support our mission for a future where no woman dies of ovarian cancer.
The money raised by these game-changers will fund our research to give women the best chance of survival.
Inspired by our brilliant walkers?
If you'd like to support our work, here's how you can get involved this Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month.
Walk in Her Name is close to my heart - Beth Mead
"In 2023, I lost my mum to ovarian cancer. This March, I want to make my Mum proud by pushing for change for other women. She was my inspiration.
With every step you take for this challenge, you’re bringing us closer to a world where no woman dies of ovarian cancer.
For you, for her, for everyone. It's time to Walk in Her Name."
- Beth Mead: Lioness, footballer and Ovarian Cancer Action ambassador
