He’ll be joined by Professor Peter Sasieni (Wolfson Institute of Population Health), a leading expert in cancer prevention, who will reflect on the success of the HPV vaccine programme and what it teaches us about turning promising science into real-world impact.
Together we’ll explore:
- What would it take for a preventative ovarian cancer vaccine to succeed?
- What drives public trust and uptake?
- And what challenges still need to be overcome?
This session is designed for anyone with an interest in ovarian cancer, prevention, or the future of cancer research, whether you have a personal connection or are simply curious about what’s possible.
