John Lewis Partnership Secondment
Ovarian Cancer Action is excited to announce that John Lewis Partnership has posted three secondment positions on its internal network as part of the Golden Jubilee Trust program.
The Golden Jubilee Trust offers practical help to UK charities by offering their Partners the opportunity to apply for volunteer secondments within a charity of their choice for up to six months at full pay. In the past year, 24,500 hours of Partner volunteering were awarded to 52 organisations. Partners say that the secondments help them to adapt to new and challenging situations, while charities benefit from the experience, enthusiasm, and skills the volunteers bring to their work.
This year, Ovarian Cancer Action has created three roles which Partners can apply for:
1) Data Strategist
There are two projects associated with this role. Firstly, to develop a 1 and 3-year strategy for data acquisition and the second is to create an integration roadmap to link the charity’s multiple platforms with our database.
2) HR and Operations Specialist
This role involves developing a people strategy to optimise productivity from the charity’s staff and volunteers, evaluating our current model adding recommendations to reduce cost and increase efficiency.
3) Marketing/E-Marketing Specialist
The third role would develop customer journeys integrating them with the wider team, and create a model for copy-writing, testing, and optimising all e-comms.
Ovarian Cancer Action is on a mission to make ovarian cancer a survivable disease through funding research and raising awareness – we couldn’t do this without you.
