The Jewish Community & Ovarian Cancer Action

We're working together with the Jewish community to prevent ovarian cancer.

Have you heard of the faulty BRCA gene?

A BRCA genetic fault is much more likely in the Ashkenazi Jewish community.

Having one of these gene faults makes you more likely to develop certain cancers, including breast and ovarian cancer. Knowing if you have this genetic fault can save your life through earlier screening and risk-reducing opportunities. Ovarian Cancer Action has been working with the Jewish community to get this message heard.

Find out more about the BRCA genes, genetic testing and how you can raise awareness in your community.

Do you know your risk?
