Where research meets real life
What makes the centre distinctive is how closely research is connected to real patient care. Based at Hammersmith Hospital in London, scientists work alongside clinicians, with tumour samples moving from surgery to the lab within minutes.
This means research is carried out on real ovarian cancer samples, increasing the likelihood that discoveries translate into treatments that work in practice.
