Cary Wakefield

Cary Wakefield CEO of Ovarian Cancer Action

Cary Wakefield

Cary is leading Ovarian Cancer Action’s ambitious strategy to transform 10-year survival rates, so that by 2032 at least half of all women diagnosed with ovarian cancer live beyond their diagnosis.

She is passionate about women’s health and using her extensive experience to ensure that Ovarian Cancer Action creates noise, provokes thought, and leads change in healthcare and education to break down barriers in diagnosis and treatment.

Marie-Claire Platt

Head of Policy & Research, Marie-Claire leads our Charitable Activities programmes, and is responsible for the work we fund to improve survival rates.

She is passionate about creating strategies, turning evidence into action, and keeping patients and the change we want to see for them at the heart of the work we fund.
