Setting up a Facebook Fundraiser is the easiest way to raise money in memory of your loved one. You can set one up in just a few seconds here. Once you have set up your page, it’s easy to share your page with friends and family on Facebook and ask them to donate in memory of your loved one.

You can also donate via bank transfer. Please be sure to add the reference “In Her Name” and fundraising@ovarian.org.uk:

The funds you raise will fuel our work across three main areas:

  • BREAKTHROUGHS - Since its inception, Ovarian Cancer Action is the largest expert funder of ovarian cancer research in the UK. However, more must be done with accelerated investment in groundbreaking new treatments, your funds will supercharge progress into treatments and early diagnosis for women across the UK.
  • KNOWLEDGE - Together we will transform the lives of women: Understanding the signs and symptoms of ovarian cancer is vital for survival. Your fundraising will help empower more women (and medical professionals) with the knowledge they need around symptoms and higher-risk groups. This will support earlier diagnosis and give us a better chance of being able to stop this disease in its tracks.
  • FAIRNESS - It’s paramount that all women have the best chance of survival regardless of age, ethnicity, or location. Your funds will support the fight for all women to be heard, whether that’s pushing for an early diagnosis or seeking access to the best care, surgery, and treatment options.

Unfortunately, if your page has closed you will not be able to reopen it. If you would like to continue your fundraising, we would be extremely grateful for your continued support. You can create a new page here.

We recommend writing a few words on the page noting how much you previously raised so that all your friends, family and donors can see.
