A woman saw a story shared by Ovarian Cancer Action about a lady who had died from ovarian cancer at the age of 43, and she was 43 at that point. She knew that she was at risk of ovarian cancer due to her family history. She said "I don't want this to happen to me" and went back to her GP to take preventative action. That story she read had a life changing impact for her and her daughters.
