Losing a loved one to ovarian cancer, sadly, happens too often and we are very grateful to you for thinking of us at this difficult time.
Donating in memory can be a way to celebrate a loved one’s life and pay tribute to causes that are important to them. You can collect donations in lieu of flowers, allowing friends and family to pay their respects in a way that better reflects your loved one’s life.
How can I collect donations as part of the funeral?
Info below to help you. If you would prefer to speak to a member of our team please don’t hesitate to contact us on 020 7380 1730 or email email@example.com
The simplest way is to set up a Tribute fund page or funeral notice online and send the link to friends and family. Find out more about setting up a fund in memory of your loved one.
Your friends and relatives may prefer to make their donation by cheque. You can increase the amount raised by 25% by asking those donating by cheque to complete a Gift Aid declaration. This enables us to raise an extra 25p for every £1 raised.
Make cheques payable to ‘Ovarian Cancer Action’. We recommend collecting all the cheques and post them together with any gift aid forms and enclosing a brief note including the name of your loved one, your name, address and telephone number, to:
Ovarian Cancer Action

If you have an online tribute fund as well, we can add any donations made as cheques to your online fund so that it shows your full total, just let us know if you’d like us to do this for you.
Order donation envelopes and pin badges
We can send you branded donation envelopes to give friends and family at the funeral for their donations. We also have teal ribbon pin badges we can send you which are a lovely way to thank guests for their kind donation. These items are free of charge so we ask that you order only as many as you need.
