Scientific Excellence
The Centre has developed a global reputation for the highest quality basic and translational research with the aim of improving patient outcomes. Led by Professor Iain McNeish since 2017, who is one of the most highly recognised ovarian cancer researchers in the world and NIHR Senior Investigator Award winner 2021.
A global leader in science, Imperial College is a unique location to bring together convergent science and multi-disciplinary expertise.
Our funded researchers at the Centre are working hard to tackle the hardest challenges in ovarian cancer research. And our pilot grants will enable us to bring expertise from all corners of the University.
Clinical Excellence
With the leading survival rates in the UK, many of our researchers are also clinicians treating patients.
Known for its leadership in ovarian cancer surgery, Professor Christina Fotopoulou is sharing ovarian cancer surgical expertise to help level up the rest of the country. Helping towards our goal of more women surviving ovarian cancer.
Ovarian Cancer will soon be offering surgical fellowship funding to help share this vital knowledge.
