Corporate Partnerships Manager
We are recruiting for a new Corporate Partnerships Manager who will be working in a proactive fundraising team to increase income from corporate partnerships.
You will be responsible for growing income through developing strategic partnerships with local and national businesses. You will research, approach and secure new partnerships and manage these relationships to achieve financial and volunteering objectives. You will use creativity to develop innovative and multi-year partnerships. You will also account manage all existing partnerships, proving excellent supporter care and work with our partners to ensure they reach targets. You will be willing to work as part of a developing team.
You will line manage one other member of the Fundraising team, either the Community Fundraiser or Challenge Events Fundraiser, depending on experience.
This is a full-time, permanent role working 9am – 5.30pm in the Camden Head Office, and occasionally on evenings and weekends at external events (with time off in return).
Salary: £30,000-£35,000 dependent on experience.

Challenge Events & Student Fundraiser
We are recruiting for a new Challenge Events & Student Fundraiser who will manage a calendar of challenge events fundraising teams including Virgin Money London Marathon, Great North Run and Prudential Ride London.
You will provide excellent supporter care to the participants, ensuring that they reach or exceed targets. You will look to build relationships with universities and students and provide excellent supporter care. You will be willing to work as part of a developing team.

Cancer Prevention Officer
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced Cancer Prevention Officer (CPO) to coordinate our work in raising awareness of BRCA gene mutations among public and healthcare professionals.
The CPO will create and implement a lively and successful programme of engagement to inform and educate about NHS entitlement to BRCA testing, implications of carrying a BRCA gene mutation and preventative measures that can be taken to reduce cancer risk after a positive result.
You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong project management skills. You should also have a keen knowledge of BRCA gene mutations, and be passionate about the implications in relation to cancer risk. Good knowledge of the NHS and communication channels within primary care, government health bodies and health professional organisations is also desirable.
The CPO will be highly informed about BRCA gene mutations and will share this knowledge with both members of the public and the Ovarian Cancer Action team. The role fits into the charity’s awareness strategy which is an important role in the organisation. We are looking for a Fundraising Intern to work on a project to ensure that our fundraising income records are up to date and recorded centrally on the charity’s database.
It will involve data entry work for a minimum of 3 days a week and will involve the intern using their initiative and investigating discrepancies when needed. The Intern will also work with the fundraising team on other projects as well as other departments for the maximum 2 days a week including digital communications, press, healthcare and operations, developing a full and all round understanding of the charity.

Join our Internship Programme
As an intern with Ovarian Cancer Action, you will gain valuable experience within a rapidly growing team. You will be given projects to work on across numerous departments within the charity including Fundraising, Communications, Marketing, Finance and general office management. Our Internships provide you with the skills needed to kick start your career in the charity sector.
We ask that our Interns volunteer for a minimum of 3 days a week, during standard office hours, for a minimum of 12 weeks. You will be based in our London office, but will also have the opportunity to volunteer at events around London outside standard office hours such as fundraising or awareness raising events.
Our Internships are unpaid, however as an intern, you will benefit from:
- travel expenses to and from your placement and for lunch to a maximum value
- supervision, coaching and support throughout the internship
- any appropriate training required
- advice and support on writing your CV and application forms, as well as interview skills
- increased confidence
- access to our internal job vacancy list
- a reference on satisfactory completion of the volunteer internship
