Every year hundreds of supporters across the country join us and Walk In Her Name. Last year alone, 5692 miles were walked – that’s over 11,384,000 steps!
£50,000 was raised towards funding scientific research and awareness campaigns. But this year, together, we can do more.
Let’s walk towards a world where no woman dies of ovarian cancer.
What is Walk In Her Name?
We believe that overcoming ovarian
cancer is about working together. So we’re asking you to join our fight and
organise a walk in the name of a loved one who has or has had ovarian cancer.
Whether you have a group of two or 200, from nine months to 99 years old; anyone and everyone can get involved! Your walk can be a ramble round the park, a trek through the countryside or even a stroll to the pub — It’s your choice!
March is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month, and a great time to hold your walk. But you can Walk In Her Name whenever and wherever you want. Just let us know what you’re planning!
